Blondel

New Chocolate shop " Blondel" has opened near my apt this year. It's from Switzerland. I visited the shop with my friend who lives in the same buliding as me. First floor is the chocolate shop, and second floor is a cafe. They have many variety chocolate drinks, and I had the Wiskey chocolate drink and Hezelnut Cake. The taste of the drink was amazing. It's wiskey! I thought I'll get drank after I finish it... Here is my drink and the cake.

I hesitated to eat chocolate cake with chocolate drink, because it might be too sweet. But the drink was not too sweet, and I could finished them all. :)

My friend ordered Ginger chocolate drink and Kouglof. The Kouglof is covered by the chocolate.

Another chocolate shop has opened in Ginza this year, too. They also have a cafe. I wanna try to have a drink there, too.

Korean BBQ

I had the dinner at "KantonYa"(韓豚屋）with my co-wokers. It locates Shinbashi, Tokyo. One of my co-worker will be in maternity leave from next month, so we decided to have a dinner together before she leaves. We three traveled to Korea last year together, and this restaurant reminds me our trip. We really wanted to eat inexpensive but delicious Korean BBQ while we were in Seoul, but we were too tired to go out for dinner. We gave up to go to the restaurant we decided to have a dinner that night, and we had the dinner near our hotel instead.

We ordered Kimchi

 We didn't know they broil Kimchi, too. I sometimes add Kimchi when I cook fried rice, but I never had the broiled Kimchi only.Taste was good!

Waeji galbi. This was good, too!

We ordered two more dishes before we had the desert above. (I forgot to take the photo of two dishes) I really like this restaurant. I definately will go back there, again.

Coffee Break

I am having Cafe Latte and Whoopie pie I made  two days ago (see "My Kitchen")now. It's nice to eat Whoopie with coffee. I haven't make Caffe Latte for a long time, but I should make it more often. How can I make latte art?

Cafe Daisy

I brought the whoopie pies and marshmallow I made last night as my friend's baby shower gift(See "My kitchen") to the restaurant tonight. My friend and I supposed to have a dinner at this restaurant in Feb, but we could not make it. Finally, we could have a dinner at this restaurant tonight.

Since I am capitivated by Scadinavian countries since I visited there last October(See "Travel"), I am looking for a place that I can eat Scandinavian dishes. Cafe Daisy is one of them, and they serve Danish dishes.

Today's Soup " TOMATO SOUP"

 Danish Meatballs with Potato Salad and Pickles

Crab & Avocado salad with sour cream dressing

 

I had "Cafe Daisy's upside down apple pie with vanilla ice cream" with Latte.

She had the "Cold cheesecake

soufflé with blueberry jam and caramelized almonds" and Latte.

Surprisingly, she brought me a present, too.

Ta-dah~!

I am sooooo happy she remembered that I said I like Aalto. Thank you, Chigusa!

Walt Disney 110th Anniversary in Ginza

The department store "Matsuya Ginza " started the event "Walt Disney 110th Anniversary" from yesterday. I took my friends to get there after work. We could know his life, ideas, creations. You won't take more than a hour to see all the exhibitions. 

I am not a big fan of Mickey Mouse, but I really wanted to get this mug when I saw it on leaflet. I went to the exhibition, because of this mug.  

Besides this mug, I got BABBI chocolates and notebook "Alice in Wonderland." My friends also shopped some at the souvenior shop.

CHERRY BLOSSOM

I went back to my parents home last weekend. Before I got back to my hometown, my father called me he found some bloomed flowers . Every year I see this cherry tree in full bloom at home, I feel spring is here. It's very nice, isn't it? The only bad thing is... after blossom falls, many butterfly catapillers come to the tree...It's another way to feel spring :p

Tofu ya Ukai

I had the dinner with my co-workers and my generous boss. My boss took us to the very famous resturant " Tofu ya Ukai" at Shiba, Tokyo. I have seen this resturants on TV and manazine many times, but it was the first time to have a meal there. I don't think I can afford it by myself.

 All the buildings are so impressive, and the garden is so pretty.
