Okubo

I was in the mood for Korean food last Friday, so I asked my friend to go to Okubo for eating some Korean foods on Saturday. Okubo is in Shinjuku ward and is the most famous Korean town in Tokyo. It was raining all day long on Staurday, but we saw so many people when we got in Okubo. One of the Korean supermarket we stopped by was so packed... I gave up for shopping there and moved to another supermarket.
Another one was not packed, so I shopped some Korean foods there. The four items in the front of the pic, I never had them before. I'll see how they taste like. Noodles in the black bag is my favorite. I reraly go to Okubo, and I buy this one everytime I go there.

DAE JANGGEUM(大長今)
My frined and I had early dinner at Dae Janggeum restaurant. I brought few pages of magazine clippings as ideas where we should eat. We picked this restaurant without knowing we have had dinner couple years ago together. We were planning to go to a restaurant we haven't been to...Anyway, we liked this restaurant and enjoyed some light meals.

Holländische Kakao-Stube  After the dinner, I took my friend to ISETAN. This is the shop I really wanted to go since I saw "Margareten Kuhchen" on the magazine.

Finally, I could buy it! Top of the Margaret is marzipan. It looks pretty, and the taste was pretty simple. I also got  one of my favorite sweet "Baumkuchen ." Needless to say, it was really good. I finished them in two days :)
