About a year ago, Tokyo Sky Tree is opened as the world tallest free-standing broadcasting tower, and it is now in its first anniversary.
I took a day off last Friday, and I visited there for the first time. It opens at 8:00am everyday, and I arrived there at 7:40am. I think about 50-60 people were already there and waited for its opens. I also waited for 20 mins until the ticket counter opens. When I got the ticket, I went up to the "TEMBO DECK(350m)" with the elevater.
When we go up and down in an elevator, we can see four different types of interior design in an elevator. The elevator I took to the first observatory at 350M high was decorated by “Edo Kiriko.” The elevator reachs to the first observatory in about 60 seconds, and it is the fastest elevator of Japan.

The weather was really nice the day I was there, so I could see Mt. Fuji, too!

Sorakara-chan(left)is a Sky Tree’s original character. There are other characters, Sukoburuburu(right) and Teppenpen(penguin-no picture...sorry).I felt they are not much cute before I visited there, but once I saw them...they become cute to me.
"SORAKARA POINT" is the highest point of the tower accessible to the public, and the height is 451.2 meters. The view from there was a bit different from the TEMBO DECK. I don't know it's worth to pay extra money to see the view from there, but it would be OK to pay one time :)
This is the another design of the elevator. I want to see rest of two designs how it looks like.
After I left the Sky Tree, I had the lunch at Moomin Café near there. I have heard the café is pretty popular and it may take an hour to get the seat. I was lucky there were only few people were waiting for their table, and I didn't need to wait the seat for a long time.
There are four different Moomin charactor's lunch specials and I could choose from two choices "Little Myy" or "Moomin" the day I was there.
I had the special "Little Myy" and orange juice. The taste was just OK, but it was sort of fun experience for having the lunch decorated like above. Do you think it looks like kid's meal? :P
